Rousey, Favorite To Retail The Title

In one of the most expected rematches, Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey will face Miesha Tate at UFC 168 on Saturday, December 28th at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas

The odds for the second between these two fighters are no different for the first one. My Top Sports Books have Rousey as heavy favorite to retain her belt with 10-1. The first one took place in the Strikeforce promotion for the women’s title and ended in the first round when Rousey forced Tate to submit via her signature armbar.

“Losing in the same way against the same person? One must learn from their mistakes. I have many resources to battle and win the belt”, said Tate.

“Cupcake” has a unique opportunity for revenge and needless to say that her experience and quality in the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) places her as one of the toughest opponents for Rousey.

Miesha has a record of 13 wins (three by knockout, six submissions and four decisions) and four defeats. Her only submission loss has been inflicted by Rousey (7-0). There aren’t many fighters who legitimately hate each other more than these two. That makes this fight interesting, but no one has come close to figuring out Rousey’s lethal judo game.

“I think people will look back at this as one of the monumental rivalries, and as one of those things that really cemented women’s MMA” said Rousey, who uses her Olympic experience to slam her opponents to the ground and finish them with brutal armbars.

If Rousey wins, as everyone is expecting, she will face Alexis Davis or Sara McMann in her next bout.

In a battle full of excitement, adrenaline and technique, “Cupcake” will try to show that the armbar has an antidote to become the new champion and deal Rousey her first defeat.
